It may have taken all day to do today but it was well worth it . Anyone in this area looking to get tuned or work done i HIGHLY recommend Ed and Mongillo Motors. He spent all day on my car getting it to where HE was satisfied with the setup. Great guy, explains everything in detail (even if someone doesnt know anything about cars) you'll get alot from him. He did a ton of pulls on the dyno to get it right and then took on the street to tune it also. He even did a simulated 1/4 time. Which i beleive was 12.2@111 with 1.66 60ft. | Ed is great. Those 1/4 mile dyno runs are fun. I did one when the dyno was 3 days old. Ed really goes the extra mile, and makes the experience great. | I first heard about Mongillo Motors from someone I was talking to at a car show, long story short he pointed me in their direction after he was up at Lebanon Valley drag racing right next to them. He told me that they had some of the fastest, well built cars he has ever seen. After years of bouncing around from speed shop to speed shop, and always leaving pissed off with a car that didn’t run good as well as a thousand dollar bill, I came across these guys while googling LS1 tuning in CT. When I first called Mongillo Motors, it was just about 7:30 on a Tuesday night; to my surprise, owner, Ed picked up and proceeded to talk to me about my project for quite awhile. My immediate thoughts were that these guys truly have a passion for what they do. So I headed down to their shop. Upon arrival, Ed completely dropped everything He was doing and proceeded to show me around the shop. I was sold, every other shop owner I’ve ever dealt with would treat me like I was wasting their time, and would never take the time to show me around. Long story short, my tuning is complete, my car runs the best it ever has, and I could not be happier with the tune, or my experience with Mongillo Motors. These guys are the most personable people I have ever dealt with in this sport, and are truly the real deal.
